  This place needs Gordon Ramsay! Such a gorgeous location is wasted on a poor menu that is poorly presented. Wait staff is poorly trained and apparently have had no previous food service experience. Hotel itself is dungeonlike. This could be a destination under the proper management.

  This was, by far, the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant.
  
  My boyfriend and I were camping at nearby Salt Point State Park, and we were recommended this place as the only thing nearby (and it was - the area is pretty remote). The menu for the actual restaurant was extremely pricey, so we grabbed one of the tables in the bar area and decided to order off of the less expensive bar menu. Twenty minutes went by, and no one came by to take a drink order, even though there were other people around us who were being served.
  
  We got the feeling we were being ignored on purpose because there were a number of bar and wait staff with free time and no one came to check on us. We were camping, so we did not look as fancy as the other guests, but we were not dressed inappropriately. I guess they took one look at us and figured that we were not worth their time, which is a shame since the restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday night and there were plenty of staff hanging around with not much to do.
  
  I finally had enough and went over to the bar to place our order. The woman behind the bar took her time before coming over to me, then made me wait for another few minutes until she found a pad and pencil with which she could take down our order. When she finally came over to us to bring drinks and silverware (my boyfriend ordered water), she brought over ONE glass of water in the tiniest whiskey glass I have ever seen and did not refill it the rest of the night. The food was ok, not great (he got a burger and I got a crabcake) but it came within a reasonable time. I guess they wanted to get us out of there.
  
  I used to wait tables, so I know what the expected level of service is and I know that you treat a paying customer with respect and quality service regardless of the way they are dressed. This was far below it, and pointedly rude.
  
  I really hope that it is not the policy of this establishment to be pointedly rude and unwelcoming to people who look like they make less than six figures, but if it is, then they deserve what they get if they don't make it through these difficult economic times.
